PEpro is a financial research database for investment professionals.

CHALLENGE
Visually, the client wanted PEpro to feel like a powerful research "application", not just an informational Web site.

The site is driven by an extensive database containing profiles of thousands of investment companies, funds and statistics, and the interface needed to be flexible enough to deal with a wide variety of dynamically-generated content.

SOLUTION
To get an "application" feel, the interface uses icons, pull-down menus, and grey beveled accents to evoke desktop software.

The navigation and information components are all modular for flexibility, and I worked extensively with the programmers to integrate the HTML with the database.

MY ROLE
All design and graphics except for the logo, user interface, HTML production, significant quality control testing and development collaboration.
